Nathan and "The Tractor Incident" 03/13/2010
You all know how this guy seems to love getting himself into trouble. Well, he's been at it again. :) I came home from work the other evening, and he met me at the door. Him: "Honey...I think the tractor's hung up." Me: "Want me to call Terry to pull it out with his truck?" Him: "Uummm...I don't think that will help." Me: "(sigh)...Show me." Me: (from the top of the hill)...That doesn't look so bad..."  Him: "Go look at the other side." Me: "(shocked silence)"   Day 2....still hung up. He's got it moved 90 degrees, but now all 4 tires are in the hole.  Day 3...It rains...gets sloppier...we start discussing where to find a backhoe to dig him out...  Day 4....more rain. But he's determined this will be the last day...  Terry's truck gets hung up in the process...  Somewhat clear of the mud, but now it's stuck on a stump...:)  Freedom! But now how are you going to get back onto THIS side of the hole???  His solution: hold on tight and floor it...  It worked! Now to pull the truck out...  Both on relatively solid ground again. He's going to have to wait quite some time before he tries to go back there again...lol. |
