Had some nice morning light this weekend, so I took a jaunt to the pits about a mile from home.  None of these have been retouched; the water really IS that color!  :)

Check out the Donkeys on the Project Horses page...this one's going to be a very interesting endeavor...

After the rain the other day, a gorgeous groundmist moved in and did some spectacular things with the light.  I couldn't capture much with my dinky little camera but here are a few I think are okay.

...is evidently in my corral.  The view from the back corner of the pasture on a rainy afternoon...

Shannon, Keristen, and Gabe came over this weekend for a ride; I didn't get any shots of Gabe as I was leading him around, but both S & K were doing great and were able to handle things on their own.  We had a blast, and I can't wait to do it again!  So here's the pics; click on the little ones to see a bigger version.  We love you guys, and I'm so glad we were lucky enough to move in next to such tolerant neighbors, lol!  Anytime you want to ride again, just come on over :)

As usual, the Princess is into everything.  I don't know what she did, but she showed up one afternoon limping a little; after checking it out, there looked to be a small scratch on her leg just above her hoof, but no blood.  The next morning it was puffy, warm, and really bothering her; after conferring with Doc, we're putting her back on the antibiotics and giving her hydrotherapy twice a day and I will be reporting back to Doc on her progress Thursday to see if we need a visit.  So little girl, get better and quit beating yourself up!  :)
