Can you believe it's been a week already?  This girl is growing so fast!  And she's a bucking, kicking machine, too.  And surprise, little miss in-to-everything already had a minor injury.  Turns out she thought she could climb the non-climb woven wire horse-fence and ended up getting a let caught; luckily Shannon and family noticed her and cut her free.  Skinned her little leg a bit but no blood, and there has been no heat or swelling in the joints; nonetheless, Nate is now charged with taking all of that wire that's on the corral fence (originally used to keep the ducks out of the yard) down and putting up an extra rail since Miss Macy likes to squish out between the boards.  She's a real pistol!

And that Tyla is such a protective mama.  Not really around people, but if the boys so much as look at Miss Macy when she bounces within 10 feet of the fence, Tyla's on them like white on rice.  Tyla's getting around so much better, too.  Still a couple more weeks to go until we can get her feet trimmed.  I'm hopeful that with those long toes gone, she might be able to be adopted out and be turned out with other horses (albeit slow ones).

While she does have both of mama's blue eyes, looks like just her right one will have the black 'eyeliner' like Tyla.  Which does make her face look a little lopsided, :).

So, here's one more shot of the Princess on her birthday, and then....
