She's Here! 08/18/2009

Introducing....Macy!!!

Picture
Tyla didn't show any signs Saturday night so I took the evening off of Baby Watch and slept in...until Nathan runs in Sunday morning hollering 'It's Here!!!  It's Here!!!'!!!  I run out in my jammies to find these damp girls looking back at me.

They both seemed up and normal, so I went to the call list and the parade of visitors began.  As I was helping baby find where to nurse I threw my back out, so tons of thanks to Cindy and Leslie for cleaning out the stall, and to Matt & Alison for bringing over supplies.

It was a very, very hot day and she was having some trouble nursing and such so Doc Mehringer came out and gave her an IV and some shots, but she's doing ever-so-much better now.  And that Tyla is moving so much easier too!  She's going to have trouble keeping up with this one, though; Macy's going to be an independent little handful.

Look at the little heart on her cheek!!!
