That's right, ladies and gents, a $1500 check made payable to Pork Chop Johnson!!!!  HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!  In case you can't read the photo, here's the info on the check (NONE of which checks out according to my Googling; not surprising, but I was hoping they would be using the name of some legitimate company who might want to get involved...alas, we're not that lucky)...

All in all, if someone is dumb enough to make it to this stage, I can see how they would fall for the check.  It's very realistic, down to the watermark and such on the back.  Unfortunately, according to what I can find on Google, there IS no Capital One Bank in Greenwell Springs.  Nor can I find anything on Welch Bookkeeping other than an ad for yorkie puppies from '06 that reads "very beautiful puppies of two weeks old from same parents ,terrier breed warmly ,sharp ears and can act as aid to retards and can act as security to owners,friendly and nothigh tempered , "...aid to retards???  Really???  Even I am a little offended at that!

Interestingly enough, the information on the FedEx envelope says that the sender is:

So far, none of the names or addresses (other than Adriana Rojas of Plantation FL, which brings up an old ad in Spanish from '06, I can't read what it says but I flagged it) brings anything up other than what I've posted here.  There are several avenues we could go from here....hhmmm, what to say next....I could say that I didn't get it, but then FedEx might be liable.  I don't want to cost them any money.

Kthie I went to the bank yestrday and they said the signature on the check isn't leggible enuf the ink is to faded so they cant cash it.  and yuo know, their right, its reely lite and yuo cant hardly see it. What shud I do now?  Can yuo have yuor peeple sign won with darker ink so it dusnt fade?  Im gettin a little upset havin to wate so long for a check i cant even cash. and spendin almost $50 to drive to the dang bank for nothin. let me know what todo.
